It's always good fun when 'Green Leek' get together. This time they enjoyed making friends and working with Naomi from the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
'The Stars Are Coming Out For Christmas' was this year's Christmas performance and they certainly did as we enjoyed watching the singing and dancing of the Christmas trees, cards, snow and the Christmas dinner. But the winning star was the Star of Bethlehem as we celebrated the most important part of Christmas, the birth of Jesus.
Green Leek Year 6s were joined by a small group of parents and members of the community on their recent trip to London.
Children throughout the school prepared the raised beds in our allotment area ready for planting. We are looking forward to a bumper crop of potatoes, onions, beans and peas. Maple Class sewed wildflowers seeds in the wild garden area.
Decorated eggs, Easter hats and keeping fit combined to make our Easter Eggstravaganza a real hit for Sports Relief.
Unlikely visitors surprised, shocked, excited and amazed us when Burton Green was visited by a range of creatures that are rarely seen in our village.

Year 6 children learned more about how our justice system works by experiencing a 'mock trial' led by a group of our local magistrates.
